Dr. Stewart Fogel received his BA degree from Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical College. After completing his radiology residency at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh (now known as UPMC Medical Center), he served as Director of the Ultrasound Department at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Fogel then founded this practice in May 1980, initially doing diagnostic ultrasound and adding mammography and comprehensive breast evaluation in 1985. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and a past President of the Pittsburgh Roentgen Society. He was also a film reviewer for the Mammography Accreditation Program of the American College of Radiology. He retired in July 1999.
